Shed House Wrap

A: use a house wrap like tyvek around the whole structure before you install the siding. start at the bottom and go up, overlapping the layers by 4 inches or more. you can use staples to fasten the house wrap.. I know that this is code for a house, but this is a storage shed. i want to build it right, but if i can safely save the $70 it's going to cost to wrap, i'm all for it. thanks in advance.. Do i need to use house wrap? i'm building a shed and i'm installing vinyl siding on the exterior. do i need to use a plastic sheeting type product to wrap the house in before the vinyl siding?? if it is a shed don't waste your money on the wrap unless you plan on living in the shed. anonymous
